We are the charity formerly known as Cumbria Action for Sustainability (CAfS)

We work with a wide range of funders and partners to bring about a more sustainable way of life in Cumbria.

Our fantastic funders

We’re very proud to be supported by high-profile national and local funders, who are making it possible for us to deliver real change in Cumbria. Here are the funders for our current projects:

Our partners

Almost everything we do involves working with partners, from across Cumbria and nationally. That’s because sustainability is a thread that runs through every aspect of life, and bringing about real change means engaging and involving as many people as possible.

We work with local authorities, a wide range of public-sector and third-sector agencies, schools and colleges, businesses and community groups, among others. Here are some of our current projects.

We also liaise with Cumbria’s sustainability groups, find out more about them here.

Of course, we also work directly with lots of people and households across Cumbria, through our many events and services.

About us
