Say hello to Cumbrian Carrot Connections – a fresh new project linking schools with the people who grow their food, starting with a familiar favourite: the humble carrot.

We’re inviting Cumbrian schools to explore the joys of local, seasonal food through hands-on experiences. Whether it’s visiting local farms, tasting fresh produce, or learning in the classroom, children will discover the story behind what’s on their plate and why this story matters.
