This Earth Day, we’re launching our fundraising appeal, Together for Tomorrow, aiming to empower communities across Cumbria to take meaningful climate action.

Running from today until 29 April, every donation will be doubled thanks to the Big Give’s Green Match Fund, helping us reach our £20,000 target to support more community-led climate solutions. Your gift will help us deliver even more practical initiatives like home retrofitting, clean energy advice, and workshops that empower people across the region to create a greener, fairer future.

“The climate crisis won’t wait, and neither can we,” says Beatrice Stanley, our Appeal Lead. “This appeal is about making sure everyone in Cumbria has the support they need to take action.”

We’re a small, independent charity rooted in Cumbria, and while we punch well above our weight, our work is heavily reliant on grant funding—much of which is tied to very specific projects. This appeal is one of the few times we can ask directly for support to help us do more, reach further, and respond flexibly where the need is greatest. Every pound given genuinely makes a difference—and during this week, every donation can have twice the impact.
