National Emergency Briefing: Facilitator Workshop & Action Planning

This workshop is for anyone interested in supporting the National Emergency Briefing initiative and helping build momentum for climate and nature action in Cumbria and beyond.

After a shared lunch, we’ll watch the briefing film together and explore how to run impactful local screening sessions. We’ll work through facilitation guidance from the National Emergency Briefing, practise leading elements of the session, and share experiences from those who have already delivered events — including what’s worked well and what hasn’t.

Together, we’ll also look ahead: discussing what meaningful “next steps” could be for participants in Cumbria, and what resources or support might be needed to help turn awareness into action.

There will be plenty of time to connect, exchange ideas and hear what others are currently working on — making this a valuable space for collaboration as well as learning.
