We are the charity formerly known as Cumbria Action for Sustainability (CAfS)

Administrator – Climate and Carbon Literacy Training

We’re looking for a highly organised and reliable Administrator to join our team and support the delivery of our Climate and Carbon Literacy Training project.

In this role, you’ll play a central part in keeping the training programme running smoothly, providing high quality administrative support to the team. You’ll coordinate training sessions, manage bookings and communications with participants, and ensure all information is accurate and up to date. You’ll be working closely with colleagues to support day-to-day operations, maintain data systems, and help ensure a positive and professional experience for everyone involved in the training.

You’ll be confident communicating with a wide range of people via email, phone and online platforms, and comfortable managing a varied workload with competing priorities. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a small team are key.

The role offers excellent CPD opportunities, including free accredited Carbon Literacy training and Climate Fresk training, alongside the chance to build your knowledge, confidence and networks within the climate sector.

If you’re interested in sustainability, enjoy being organised and proactive, and want to contribute to a project that supports climate awareness and action, this is a great opportunity to be part of a supportive and purpose-driven team.

Key details:

  • Part time – 18.75 hours a week (potential to increase subject to funding).
  • Contract to end March 2027 (potential for extension subject to funding).
  • £26,228 – £30,728 per annum (full-time equivalent).
