How to enter

Entries are just £5 and are available now via our Crowdfunder page.
You can also enter for free via post — details are listed on the Crowdfunder site.

Entries close at 12 noon on 3 December 2025, and the prize draw will be held shortly after.

The draw is open to residents of mainland Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales) aged 18 or over only.

Paying entrants will receive confirmation from Crowdfunder once entered. No physical tickets will be issued.

Terms and Conditions

  1. These terms and conditions apply to Futureproof Cumbria’s Festive Prize Draw 2025. By entering this prize draw (“Draw”), you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. 
  2. The Prize Draw opens at 9.00am on 4th November (‘Opening Date’) and closes at 12 noon on 3rd December 2025 (‘Closing Date’). Any entries received after the Entry Period will not be accepted. Only entries submitted through Crowdfunder or via the specified free entry route will be entered into the prize draw. 
  3. If you send a free postal entry, please provide your name, telephone number and email address. 
  4. A random draw of all valid entries will take place within 7 days of the closing date to select twenty (20) winners. The winners will be notified by email or telephone within 7 days of the draw. Unsuccessful entrants will not be notified. 
  5. The promoter is Caroline Turner, Development Manager at Futureproof Cumbria, a charity registered in England and Wales (1123155) with registered office at Eden Rural Foyer, Old London Road, Penrith, Cumbria CA11 8ET.   
  6. It is the entrant’s responsibility to read these terms and conditions before entry into this prize draw.  
  7. Futureproof Cumbria is a registered charity. All funds raised from this prize draw, minus payment processing fees, which are clearly outlined on the Crowdfunder website, will go to Futureproof Cumbria.  
  1. The prize draw is open to residents of mainland Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales) aged 18 or over only. Futureproof Cumbria disclaims any liability for entries that are made in violation of any applicable laws or regulations. Entrants from jurisdictions where the draw is prohibited acknowledge that their entry may be considered void and are not eligible for any prizes. It is your responsibility to ensure that your participation is lawful, and Futureproof Cumbria reserves the right to disqualify any entries deemed to be in violation of any laws or regulations and will not be liable in any way if any entrant enters the prize draw unlawfully.  
  2. Prize draw entries are not to be sold to, sold by, or bought on behalf of anyone under 18 years of age. Any entry bought by or on behalf of somebody under the age of 18 will be rejected from the draw. 
  3.  Anyone entering the prize draw accepts that if they win a prize, they are responsible for all expenses which they may incur which are incidental or connected to the prize including without limitation their own travel to and from events/experiences (and that of their Guest(s)), including complying with any visa requirements. 
  • Entrants may enter the draw by making payment to the Crowdfunder campaign or by free postal entry. 
  • There is a limit of 4,000 paid entries in the prize draw.  
  • The receipt from Crowdfunder is the acknowledgement that the prize draw has been entered, you will not receive a ticket from Futureproof Cumbria. Similarly, no ticket will be issued to postal entrants. 
  • By entering the prize draw, the entrant agrees to their details being used for the purpose of ticketing administration by the promotor.   
  • For free postal entry:  

Entries must be in an envelope. Entries received other than in an envelope will not be accepted. Maximum one entry per envelope.  

If insufficient postage is provided the entry will be disqualified. 

  • Futureproof Cumbria is not responsible for any delays in delivery or receipt of postal entries. 
  • Futureproof Cumbria accepts no responsibility for prize draw entries which are lost or from which the prize-winner cannot be identified, or for any technical failure or event which may cause the competition to be disrupted or corrupted.  
  • Futureproof Cumbria accepts no responsibility if the chosen method of payment is cancelled in error. 
  • Any monies received after the closing date will be treated as a donation to Futureproof Cumbria and will not be part of the draw. 
  • Futureproof Cumbria reserves the right to disqualify any entry at their absolute discretion. 
  1. A random draw of all valid entries will take place within 7 days of the Closing Date to select twenty (20) winners. 
  2. The winners will be notified by email or telephone within 7 days of the random draw and MUST respond within 7 days of the date of first attempted contact. If any selected winner does not meet any or all of the entry conditions or refuses the offer or fails to respond within 7 days, Futureproof Cumbria may, in its discretion, select another entrant at random from the remaining eligible entries as soon as practicable as a replacement and to become a winner.   
  3. Winners will be sent their prizes within 30 days of the closing date or later as agreed between the prize winner and Futureproof Cumbria. 
  4. Once the closing date has passed, each individual valid entry will be entered into the draw. 
  5. The prize winners will be randomly selected using a random number generator. The first entry drawn will win the first prize, the second entry drawn will win the second prize, and this will continue until all the prizes have been won. Prizes are displayed in drawing order on the Crowdfunder website. 
  6. Multiple entries per person are permitted, but only one prize per person will be given. Each winning entrant will only be entitled to one of the twenty (20) prizes listed.    
  7. Entries from agents, third parties, syndicated entries or those made using methods such as a computer macro, script or the use of automated devices are not permitted in any way.   
  8. Futureproof Cumbria will make available information that indicates prizes have been awarded under this draw. Winners’ surnames and county will be published on our website www.futureproofcumbria.org.uk by 12 noon on 10th December 2025. If you do not wish to have your name published on the Futureproof Cumbria website, please choose the privacy option when entering the draw through Crowdfunder. In such circumstances, Futureproof Cumbria must still provide the information and winning entries to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.     
  9. The promoter’s decision as to the prize winners is final. Unsuccessful entrants will not be contacted. If Futureproof Cumbria is unable to contact a winner(s) within a reasonable timeframe following the draw, Futureproof Cumbria reserves the right to award prize(s) to an alternative entrant(s) without further delay. 
  1. The prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable and are not redeemable for cash or other prizes. 
  2. If circumstances beyond the control of Futureproof Cumbria mean a prize is no longer available, no financial or other alternative is offered. 
  3. The approximate retail value of each prize is listed on Crowdfunder.  
  4. Prizes are subject to the prize suppliers’ terms and conditions, and any complaints or queries relating to the condition or use of the prize should be directed to the relevant donor of the prize. 
  5. Where the prize requires physical delivery this will be via Royal Mail or other courier. Proof of delivery will be forwarded to the prize winner. Once with the courier, Futureproof Cumbria accepts no responsibility for any subsequent damage or loss that could occur. Any queries should be addressed to the relevant courier. 

Steele Mill Holiday Let  

Contact directly to arrange the timing of your 3-night stay. Available between October to April (excluding mid-December to early January) and flexible based on availability.   

Center Parcs family passes  

Two Family Day passes for 4 people on each. These passes include entry on to the village at Center Parcs Whinfell, and access to the Sub Tropical Swimming Paradise. There are lots of other activities on village which can be booked on the day; however, these activities will be charged at full price and are subject to availability.   

The passes themselves should be used within 12 months of the issue date (1st November 2025), and some restrictions do apply (as listed on the Day Passes themselves). 

Muncaster Castle voucher  

The complimentary ticket is for entry to the gardens, which includes The Hawk and Owl Centre, the flying displays and come and try sessions at The Weapons Hall. It doesn’t include entry to the castle. It is for 2 adults and 2 children.  

Meet The Alpacas & Breakfast for 1 Person Gift Voucher at Basecamp North Lakes 

This voucher entitles one person to an amazing breakfast of award winning local produce, and to meet some of the loveliest alpacas at Basecamp North Lakes! Hand feed the herd, take as many photographs as you like and have all your alpaca questions answered! PLEASE NOTE the voucher is valid until 31/12/2026 and is non-refundable. 

This activity takes place at Basecamp North Lakes, Troutbeck, Penrith, Cumbria, CA11 0SG 

This voucher is valid for 1 person 12 yrs + to Breakfast (any breakfast item plus hot/cold drink) and to Meet The Alpacas. 

All children under 16 yrs must be accompanied by an adult as part of the booking. 

Children 4 – 11 yrs can be added during the booking process online for Meet The Alpacs (£12 per child). 

Children under 4 yrs can attend Meet The Alpacas for free. 

Meet The Alpacas activity lasts 40 minutes. 

Breakfast at Basecamp is served 9am – 11:30am. If you would like to enjoy your breakfast before your activity they recommend getting to site first thing! If you would like to book a table please inform them in the booking notes when redeeming your voucher. 

Basecamp is prone to boggy conditions so they strongly recommend wearing wellies for your activity. They don’t recommend this site currently for anyone with mobility issues or wheelchair users unfortunately – please see their activities at The Lingholm Estate. 

Site facilities include cafe with washrooms, gift shop, free carparking. 

Advanced booking is essential.

  1. Futureproof Cumbria shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations to the winner(s) if such delay or failure is caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.   
  2. Futureproof Cumbria reserves the right to make reasonable amendments to these Terms and Conditions at any stage. In this event, a notice will be posted on Futureproof Cumbria’s prize draw webpage on Crowdfunder and/or on Futureproof Cumbria’s website (www.futureproofcumbria.org.uk). Futureproof Cumbria also reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize draw where it becomes necessary to do so.  
  3. Any personal information collected by Futureproof Cumbria in connection with the Draw will be used in accordance with Futureproof Cumbria’s Privacy Policy (https://futureproofcumbria.org.uk/privacy-policy/).   
  4. Futureproof Cumbria cannot accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrant(s) entering the draw, or because of accepting any prize(s).  
  5. Futureproof Cumbria is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction resulting from participation or downloading any materials in the draw.  
  6. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Futureproof Cumbria has no financial liability under or in connection with the draw. 
  7. Futureproof Cumbria are not responsible for entries that are lost, late, incomplete, inaccessible / blocked, corrupted, misdirected, delayed or damaged, regardless of cause, all of which are void.  
  8. By participating in the draw and/or accepting a prize(s), entrant(s) agree(s) to assume all liability for any injury or damage caused or claimed to be caused by participation in this draw or use or redemption of any prize(s).  
  9. Futureproof Cumbria’s failure to enforce any provision of these Terms and Conditions in a given instance shall not constitute the waiver of such provisions.  
  10. Winner(s) name, likeness and social media username may be posted on the social media profile of Futureproof Cumbria after winner(s) has been selected, but there is no obligation for Futureproof Cumbria to do so.  
  11. In the event of any dispute regarding these terms and conditions, conduct, results and all other matters relating to the draw, the decision of Futureproof Cumbria shall be final, and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.  A complaints process outline is available on request.   
  12. The Draw may be cancelled, modified, terminated or suspended in the event of any computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes outside the control of Futureproof Cumbria which impairs or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Draw. 
  13. Futureproof Cumbria reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any entrant(s) who tamper(s) with any entry or has harassed any Futureproof Cumbria representative or any other entrant(s) and to cancel, modify, terminate or suspend the Draw.  
  14. In the event of termination, a notice will be posted on Futureproof Cumbria’s prize draw webpage on Crowdfunder and/or on Futureproof Cumbria’s website (www.futureproofcumbria.org.uk) and winner(s) will be determined from entries received prior to cancellation based on the same criteria listed above.   
  15. Entry to the prize draw is conditional on acceptance of these terms and conditions, which are governed exclusively by the laws of England and Wales and under the exclusive jurisdiction of the English and Welsh courts. By entering this draw, you are deemed to have read and accepted these terms.
